Job Description We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent Dallas-based law firm seeking a talented Civil Litigation Associate Attorney. About the Role You’ll join a collaborative team of fifteen attorneys and paralegals focused on representing governmental entities in the collection of delinquent government receivables, especially property tax matters. The work is high-volume and fast-paced, but well-supported by experienced leadership and a collegial culture. What You’ll Do Handle a range of civil litigation matters, including motion hearings, bench trials, depositions, discovery, and appellate work Review properties set for monthly foreclosure sales Respond to motions filed by opposing counsel or defendants Work closely with the firm’s Administrative Attorney and Litigation Partners for mentorship, direction, and professional development Who We’re Looking For At least 5 years of general civil litigation experience (municipal or county prosecutor experience will also be considered) Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering excellent client service Why This Firm? Essential functions of the job Appear on behalf of the law firm in district, county, federal and justice of the peace courts Provide legal advice and representation to firm clients as it relates to the firm representation Work to resolve cases prior to hearing, and meet client revenue goals through daily Starting at $135,000, commensurate with experience.
