Associate Art Director

Likeable is looking for an entry-level art director thatwill concept and execute creative for a breadth of social contentand inspire, lead and drive the creative process—from collaborative ideation to design execution, through to final delivery. You should have a strong understanding of social media culture, a desire to think differently about what advertising can be, and an ability to create breakthrough work that inspires our team and our clients with budgets both big and small. Essential Job Functions: Concept social-first content ideas for brands across TikTok, Instagram, Reels, and emerging platforms Design visual concept decks, moodboards, and creative presentations. Support creative ideation and trend-based brainstorming sessions across multiple accounts Work on multiple projects, adapting visual style and tone based on audience, channel, and industry See creative vision through from concept to completion on photo and video shoots, reviewing production documents, articulating vision to video and photo teams Collaborateto help produce creative guides for shoots- including location, styling, talent and photo/video style samples Develop and oversee the art direction and design language for everything from campaign identity to video, to photography, social assets, and physical collateral Collaborate with creative and production team to produce a wide range of creative deliverables (still images, gifs, cinemagraphs, presentations, stop motion, narrative video) Stay up to date on social media, culture and other aesthetic trends to ensure clients are staying up to speed and relevant in both content post types but also aesthetically Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, interactive design or advertising Approximately 1-2 years of experience in social media, creative, content, or agency environments Proficiency in Canva required Familiarity with CapCut, TikTok editing tools, or light video editing preferred Strong understanding of social media trends, creator culture, and platform best practices Exceptional portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and creative execution A multi-disciplinary design background: strong typography, layout, photography Ability to communicate clear creative direction, both conceptually and aesthetically Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Bonus Points: Experience creating or appearing in social content Photography or lo-fi content capture experience Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite Experience working with creators or influencer campaigns Strong meme/trend instincts and understanding of internet humor Food, beverage, lifestyle, or CPG experience Benefits: Generous vacation policy, comprehensive healthcare plans, and amazing company culture!
