Job DescriptionPhysical Therapist Assistant, Licensed (LPTA)- FTConemaugh Memorial Medical Center, a Duke LifePoint hospital, is the flagship hospital of Conemaugh Health System. Conemaugh Memorial is proudly committed to being a teaching hospital including seven medical residency programs, School of Nursing, and Allied Health education programs.Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center has 537 inpatient, behavioral health, rehabilitation, and transitional care beds.How You'll ContributeA Physical Therapist Assistant who excels in this role:Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapists using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary.Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.Documents services provided and patient response/progress.Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits. Assists with patient discharge planning.Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.What We OfferFundamental to providing great care is supporting and rewarding our team.
