Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to join our team in a full-time, day shift role. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with additional call shifts required on weekends and weekdays.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient care with a focus on quality and safety.
• Monitor patients and administer required medications and treatments.
• Assist with various procedures and interventions in accordance with best practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Participate in on-call rotations as necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Trauma Level II experience is preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS are mandatory.
• Ability to manage a patient ratio as required by unit standards.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in end-tidal CO2 monitoring and activated clotting time (ACT).
• Experience in angioplasty, cardioversion, and vascular procedures.
• Knowledge of infection prevention protocols and isolation precautions.
• Ability to perform pacemaker insertions and management of central venous access devices.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in emergency situations.

Unit Details

This position involves working with adult and geriatric populations in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with specialists in physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and more to provide exceptional care.

Additional Information

Applicants must have a valid compact state license at the time of submission. This role may require floating between sister facilities. Candidates are expected to work a minimum of three of the five major holidays each year, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
