Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical, Indiana. This position provides acute-care nursing services for medical-surgical and telemetry patients on a night shift. The role supports progressive care and swing patients in a collaborative clinical setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, totaling 36 hours per week. Every other holiday is required.
- Assignment: 13-week assignment beginning 11/23/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Active Indiana Registered Nurse licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; experience with intravenous starts, nursing assessments, and telemetry.
- Preferred Qualifications: Three years of experience; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; experience with intensive care unit drips; familiarity with electronic medical records.
- Additional Information: The role provides medical-surgical nursing care for acute-care patients and may include progressive care and swing patients. Patient assignments typically range from 1:6 for acute care to 1:10 for swing care, with support from patient care technicians and house supervisors.
