is seeking motivated pre-med college graduates to join our team as Medical Assistants (MAs). Ideal candidates are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare and are able to commit to 1.5-2 years of full-time employment (40 hours per week, Monday-Friday), with occasional rotating Saturday morning shifts. Job Duties: Perform clinic administrative duties, including but not limited to, answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and/or verifying patient information, patient check in/out, coordinate and facilitate accurate patient appointment Obtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with medical examinations Maintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and/or manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies Preparing examination room, ensuring proper equipment is present and room is adequately stocked Document all aspects of the patient encounter on an electronic medical record system Keyword: Surgical Tech, EMT, Certified Medical Assistant, Medical Assistant, RMA, MA, CMA, Boulder, Medical, Outpatient, Certified, Registered, Registered MA, RMA, Nurse, Nursing, Scribe Required Experience:

Must be able to recognize and identify patient's symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in course of action. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and work at all four (4) BMC sites, as assigned. Must be available by phone to accept assignment changes as needed. : Completion of Medical Assistant education. *Certification is not required but preferred. Other completed medical training, education, and proof of active certification is an acceptable substitution of MedicalAssistant specific credentials. Must have worked with the certification 1-2 years (Examples include but are not limited to: EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.). Military medical training and education with supporting documentation is an acceptable substitution of MedicalAssistant specific credentials. College graduates with a completed four (4) year bachelor's degree is an acceptable substitution of MedicalAssistant specific credentials.
