Compensation

Weekend premium pay of $2.50 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $23.00 per hour . Please note that the compensation for this role may vary based on individual experience. Salary decisions are influenced by various factors, including the minimum qualifications specified in the job description, the work location, any required travel, and current market conditions. Therefore, the final salary for new hires will be determined accordingly.

Job Responsibilities

As a Service Center Automotive Technician, you will carry out a variety of tasks within our Automotive Service Center. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Repairing and installing tires
• Balancing wheels
• Installing batteries, headlamps, and other basic automotive components
• Performing oil changes
• Repairing brake systems
• Fixing starting and charging systems
• Working on steering and suspension systems
• Installing shocks and struts
• Conducting alignments
• Installing trailer hitches and wiring
• Completing additional tasks as assigned, with ongoing on-the-job training

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Availability to work evenings and at least every other weekend
• Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently
• Effective communication with customers and colleagues is required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous auto repair experience is preferred
• Prior retail experience is also preferred
• For Michigan locations only: ASE A4 and A6 Certifications are required for Tech Level II, while ASE A3, A4, A5, and A6 Certifications are necessary for Tech Level III, or equivalent Michigan certifications.
