About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: State or Compact license must be in hand at the time of submittal Certifications: ARRT MR or ARMRIT, BLS Must-Have: Must be comfortable with inpatient and outpatient settings. Must feel comfortable scanning implanted devices, including non-conditional pacemakers. Must be able to transport patients after hours. Must be comfortable with pediatric and sedated patients. 50-mile radius rule; no local candidates. Description: This position involves working with GE and Hitachi MRI equipment. The MRI Technologist will perform various MRI procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations. The role requires proficiency in several specific imaging techniques, including MRA, MRV, and MRCP. Experience with pediatric patients and sedation protocols is necessary. The technologist will engage in interdisciplinary support and patient care for a diverse patient age group. A high level of professionalism and adaptability in a clinical environment is expected. The position demands strong attention to detail, particularly in charting and patient monitoring. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced work environment and be able to handle emergency situations effectively.
