Operational Shift Leader

We are Wild Crush Wine Bar(n), Missouri’s first self-dispensing wine bar and event venue, centrally located in Town & Country. We offer 28 wines on tap, full bar selections, and a delicious menu of food options in a picturesque 7 acre park-like setting. Our mission is to be the place where friends gather to celebrate life’s everyday moments. As Operational Shift Leader, you have bar/restaurant management experience, enjoy interacting with customers, teaching and leading staff members by example. We expect you to have the ability to remain calm under pressure, thrive in active environments, provide leadership and guidance to other staff members, demonstrate creative and logical problem solving abilities, and be consistently dependable, kind, and respectful. Operational Shift Leader responsibilities include, but are not limited to: In-depth, extensive knowledge of POS scenarios (splitting checks, transfers, voids etc.) Personal maturity, logical and sound decision making capabilities Ability to oversee and direct staff while serving/bartending Implementation of all shift lead checklist items, working with staff to ensure all opening/closing procedures are completed Proactively report supply shortages, operational needs Group reservation and special events oversight and leadership Resolve customer and staffing concerns/issues, escalate to management as necessary Troubleshoot any POS, dispensary, or equipment issues New employee onboarding/training Beginning of week liquor check-In / end of week inventory of liquor and supplies Routine equipment maintenance as required (clean dispensary heads, turbo chef cleaning, ice maker cleaning, glass washer sanitization etc.) Actively listen and interact with ideas and feedback in management meetings Be available to work all open shifts Wednesday through Sunday, ~32hrs/wk during the Summer season and Wednesday through Saturday, ~28 hrs/wk in the Winter season If you have all of these qualifications and have demonstrated experience successfully leading a team in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
