Job Details

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning across the pediatric, adult, and senior demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Create individualized treatment plans that focus on both immediate and long-range communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions concentrating on enhancing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure unified and comprehensive care strategies.
• Empower patients and their families with educational resources and strategies that bolster progress beyond clinical visits.
• Participate in occasional assessments and interventions within inpatient settings, ensuring continuity throughout the treatment pathway.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation adhering to both state and federal compliance as well as organizational protocols.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Earned a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is preferred unless ASHA-certified.

Licenses & Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within 30 days of employment.
