The Role As a Fractional CFO, you will serve 8-10 construction clients simultaneously and be the financial leader for their businesses. You are responsible for: Leading forecasting, scenario modeling, and cash flow planning Driving WIP accuracy and gross margin visibility Identifying profit leaks and capital inefficiencies Advising on bonding and banking relationships Improving pricing and bid strategy discipline Preparing clients for scale or exit Holding owners accountable to financial commitments Building leverage through existing teams (not doing their jobs for them) This is a highly client‑facing role. You will work directly with CEOs, owners, and executive teams.
