Job Title Maintenance Mechanic II Location Aspirus Medford Hospital, Medford, WI Job Summary The Maintenance Mechanic II performs repairs and maintenance on AWH buildings, equipment and compounds. Responsibilities include regular and preventative maintenance, as well as emergency disaster and repair services. Mechanics will provide maintenance for assigned Aspirus facilities throughout all regions in Wisconsin. Responsibilities Conduct repairs and maintenance on building equipment. Perform regular and preventative maintenance procedures. Respond to emergency disaster and recovery services/repairs. Provide maintenance support for Aspirus facilities across Wisconsin. Experience and Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience in mechanical standards and practices. State-approved apprenticeship as a Millwright or Machinery Repairman, or equivalent work experience. Completion of a designated course or equivalent training at Northcentral Technical College. Annual competencies required by Aspirus and/or regulatory agencies. Five years of experience in building and equipment maintenance or equivalent. Current BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire. Hours Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day shift, every 6th weekend on-call plus one day a week on-call.
