Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent registry required
• Active state licensure as required by Alabama regulations
• Proficiency with X-ray and related imaging equipment
• Strong knowledge of radiologic principles and safety guidelines
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical environment preferred
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care
• Basic life support (BLS) certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality imaging examinations as ordered by providers
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Accurately operate and maintain imaging equipment
• Follow all infection control and radiation safety protocols
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and health professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Support patient education regarding procedures and aftercare instructions
