NAPA is seeking per diem Anesthesiologists to join their dedicated team at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. This role involves providing essential anesthesia services for a diverse range of surgical cases, contributing to a compassionate community of anesthesia professionals. Practice Info Located at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center (NFMMC) in Niagara Falls, New York. NFMMC is a leader in cardiovascular, women’s health care, bariatric weight loss, and primary care. Offers a full range of medical, surgical, rehabilitation, laboratory, and imaging services. Case assignments include general and vascular surgery, gastrointestinal and colorectal cases, orthopedic, neurology & spine, gynecology, urology, and plastics. Physicians work collaboratively with nurse anesthetists in a care team model. Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department. Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures. Pre-anesthesia assessment. Obtains and/or verifies patient consent. Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient. Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition. Performance of clinical intervention as needed. Compensation ~ W2 per diem hourly rate: $275/hour. ~1099 hourly rate: $295/hour. ~ Completion bonus offered for hours worked. Requirements M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine. ECFMG and FLEX. Completion of approved residency in anesthesia. Currently licensed as a physician.
