Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations in inpatient or outpatient settings, crafting personalized treatment strategies for each patient
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Engage collaboratively with healthcare professionals-including nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehab specialists-to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families in understanding therapeutic goals and provide education on discharge planning and home exercises
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in alignment with all facility and regulatory standards
• Actively participate in care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences for coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State license as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Additional specialized certifications such as neurological or geriatric are beneficial but not mandatory
