Senior Future Material Availability Manager - Global Supply Chain

Job DescriptionThe Role: Work cross-functionally to ensure parts are available by the Material Required Date (MRD) for all Assembly Plant Manufacturing Validation Build events and purchased part requirements.What You’ll DoDevelop and review program-specific plans covering Assembly Plant activities.Confirm supplier orders and material requirements are issued.Communicate program requirements to suppliers.Notify Purchasing of parts requiring contracts, prioritized by build event.Identify suppliers that are not EDI certified, provide details to OpenText, and send supplier communications.Create shortage reports to identify material exceptions and follow up with suppliers and program teams.Facilitate communication across functional stakeholders.Support resolution of Assembly Plant material issues.Publish Material Availability Status Reports for Assembly Plants.Partner with the Material Launch Manager to track MRD part status for PQRR meetings and communicate updates within Global Supply Chain (GSC).Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):5+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, purchasing or industrial (any internship or co-op experience will not be considered)Ability to lead and facilitate workgroups and meetings.Strong oral and written communication skills.Confidence presenting to program teams and leading cross-functional discussionsProactive decision-making with appropriate escalation when neededIndependent judgment and a self-starter mindset.Strong sense of urgencyAbility to manage pressure tactfully while handling multiple prioritiesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Proficiency with Microsoft-based software.Demonstrated leadership behaviorsAdvanced Excel skillsWhat Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management.Manufacturing experienceEngineering Change Management (ECM)Advanced Excel skillsExperience with Googlesheets or related Experience with Launch, Plant, or Supplier Recovery is a plus GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
