Based in Mount Laurel, NJ we are a multidisciplinary law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The Atlanta workers' compensation practice is expanding and seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join a growing team handling sophisticated defense litigation matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who values workers' compensation defense client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis related to NJ workers' compensation defense litigation matters
Draft pleadings motions briefs discovery responses settlement evaluations and appeals documents with accuracy and efficiency
Represent clients in hearings depositions and proceedings before Deputy Commissioners while providing strategic case evaluations to employers insurers and third-party administrators
Manage an assigned caseload while collaborating with colleagues and support staff on case management and providing regular client updates recommendations and risk assessments

Qualifications

JD from an ABA-approved law school with an active NJ license in good standing
2+ years of direct workers' compensation experience preferred
Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 ProLaw Excel and e-document management software preferred
