Registered Nurse (RN) — Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Towson, MD Agency: Prime Staffing Pay: $3,048 per week Shift: Days – 5 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 10 Weeks Start Date: 08/10/2026 Overview This temporary RN position is for a cardiac catheterization laboratory in the Towson, Maryland area. The role involves day‑shift work, on‑call responsibilities, and participation in a variety of interventional and diagnostic procedures. Responsibilities Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures, including IABP, Rotablator atherectomy, shockwave therapy, structural interventions, PFO closure, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures. Work in two dedicated cath labs and one hybrid operating room. Use and document equipment such as GE Innova IGS, Phillips, GE MacLab, EPIC, IVUS, and FFR. Monitor patients with End‑Tidal CO₂, activated clotting time, and other intra‑operative metrics. Manage procedural sedation, drug administration, and post‑procedure care. Maintain accurate charting and documentation in the EPIC system. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy. Participate in on‑call coverage and weekend assignments as required by the unit schedule. Qualifications RN license (MD or Compact) and active BLS and ACLS certifications. Minimum 2 years of experience in a cath lab or interventional setting. Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system. Experience with advanced cardiac devices and procedures listed above. Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast‑paced setting. Must be able to adhere to contract terms, including on‑call and weekend coverage. Benefits Competitive weekly pay and travel stipend.
