Customer Service Representative - Part Time

Receive checks and cash for deposits, verify amounts and endorsements, and examine currency for genuine characteristics Determine proper funds availability and place holds as necessary Enter deposits and loan payments into computer records and issue customer receipts Perform line-of-credit loan advances and ensure availability of funds Cash checks and process withdrawals after verifying signatures, endorsements, and balances Process loan payments and deposits received by mail Record and process night depository contents under dual control Issue cashier’s checks, process cash advances, and redeem U.S. Savings Bonds Buy and sell vault currency while maintaining teller drawer cash limits Balance ATMs weekly Answer basic customer inquiries while complying with disclosure and privacy requirements Process name/address changes, unauthorized ACH requests, debit card disputes, stop payments, wire transfers, check reorders, and similar services Count and package coin and currency Promote and explain Bank products and services, including loans, IRAs, certificates of deposit, safe deposit boxes, cards, and digital banking Admit authorized customers to the safe deposit vault and inspect the area after visits Promote Bank programs and encourage electronic statements Verify and update customer information Perform branch capture duties and ensure branch work is balanced Balance teller cash drawer and report discrepancies Stock teller and drive-in areas with forms and supplies Report teller terminal, drive-in, and equipment malfunctions Perform teller system overrides, proof-report balancing, vault balancing, and vault transactions when designated Perform monthly teller management assessments when designated Print and process in-house check orders using the Premier Check Printing System when assigned Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Cash handling or sales experience preferred Good organizational skills Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and maintains a positive attitude Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy Ability to balance cash drawer Sense of urgency in responding to customers Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong customer service values and ability to identify critical tasks and follow through for completion Ability to learn, retain, and follow complex legal, regulatory, and security requirements Ability to learn, retain, and communicate the basic benefits of a wide variety of Bank products and services Ability to recognize and identify customers through observations and questions and refer customers to experts Ability to utilize various types of office equipment, including a computer terminal Regularly stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear Frequently walk Occasionally sit and stoop or kneel Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Ability to work weekends May require travel to other branches Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in cash handling, customer service, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
