Human Resources Expert

Overview Starting Hourly Rate: $17.75 USD per hour. The Human Resources Expert supports store teams by recruiting, training, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws and Target policies. This role requires direct interaction with guests and store personnel to create a friendly and efficient workplace. Responsibilities Greet guests and team members with friendly, courteous interactions. Assist guests in locating items or resolving purchases quickly. Deliver a sincere thank you at every transaction. Support peers in various store areas while maintaining a positive attitude. Adjust to business and guest needs to provide an easy, inspiring guest experience. Collaborate with HR leaders to anticipate and address talent and staffing needs. Lead focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders hire qualified candidates. Support training needs and advocate continuous learning for team members and leaders. Serve as an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices. Listen to team members, collaborate with leaders to take action, and remain approachable. Ensure all HR processes and programs are delivered to maximize engagement and minimize disruption. Follow company compliance policies, safety procedures, and report hazards. Perform any other duties based on business needs. Qualifications Positive, welcoming attitude toward guests and coworkers. Strong communication skills across multiple channels. Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology. Capable of working independently and within a team. Resolve guest questions quickly and accurately. Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes. Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays. Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds and work in varying temperatures and environments.
