Provide day to day clinical support for student/staff injuries Manage IHCPs and Medical 504 plans for select students. Manage/supervise children with a variety of health issues/diagnoses, including but not limited to: Various allergies, including life-threatening peanut/tree nut allergies, and diabetes. Contribute to school safety and health and wellness initiatives, including proper hygiene and healthy behaviors. Maintain comprehensive records and facilitate ongoing communication with families as needed. Support school-wide screening assessments, such as vision and hearing. RESPONSIBLE TO: Building Principal for day-to-day direction and supervision. Position Type Part-time Salary $275 Per Day Student Services > School Nurse Job Requirements Must have current and valid RI Certification and licensed by the state of RI as a Registered nurse. Must demonstrate strong collaboration skills, working closely with school staff/administration and the district nursing team. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and be an effective communicator with colleagues, staff, families, and children. Only complete applications will be reviewed/considered.
