4x10's, varied shifts/rotating days-of-the-week (Monday-Friday), with call requirements of 2 weeknight shifts and 1 weekend day.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Surgery SCC Recovery department is responsible for providing optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for pre- and post-operative patients. The RN will work in a fast-paced, busy environment serving a 500-mile radius as part of a Level II Trauma Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Utilize knowledge and skills to ensure individualized patient outcomes.
• Coordinate care with other professionals to meet patients' needs.
• Participate in ongoing learning and professional development.
• Possibly float to other departments as needed, based on competency.

Required Experience

A minimum of 2 years of experience in Surgery Recovery Room is required, along with prior travel experience.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current NV RN license required prior to start.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
