Medical Assistant - Certified Medical Assistant

Medical AssistantShift: 5x8, 08:30–17:30. Weekends: Not required.Orientation: 40 hours. Float: flexibility required; specific float locations provided if necessary.Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program.BLS certification (AHA or ARC).Minimum 3 years of healthcare experience, with at least 2 years in an outpatient setting.Experience in Urology or Women's Health preferred.Proficiency with blood draws and venipuncture.Charting experience in Epic required.Perform front-end duties including patient check-in and telephone triage.Assist with in-office procedures including catheter placement and dressing removal.Support for urological procedures, maintaining sterile technique.Conduct vitals, 12-lead EKG, immunizations, medication administration support, and specimen labeling.Verify insurance and manage referrals.Flu vaccine required during flu season — no declinations/exemptions. Maximum RTO of 7 days; no RTO within the first 2 weeks of assignment. Pre-start modules required and will be billable.
