Corporate Staff Accountant

Job Details Perform accounting function of The Lund Company and related entities. This position applied GAAP and evaluates company internal control and the policies and procedures that help ensure management directives are carried out. Primary Responsibilities Uphold the Company Vision and Values. Consistently follow all company guidelines and policies. Prepare and process accounting transactions in a timely manner. Evaluate information for reasonableness and accuracy. Applied Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Process month end tasks and prepare monthly reports. Prepare quarterly and annual reports as needed. Prepare and process corporate accounts payable invoices and 1099s associated with them. Prepare and process commission payments to independent contractors and 1099s associated with them. Process accounts receivable entries and cash receipts. Maintain cash ledgers for each entity. Assist with payroll and benefit reconciliation. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field with 3 years or more accounting work experience. Working knowledge of accounting software. Working knowledge of MS Excel to create, develop, and maintain spreadsheets with formulas, pivot tables, graphs, etc… Extensive personal computer experience with knowledge of various software programs. Must possess both a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to The Lund Company’s excess liability insurance carrier. #J-18808-Ljbffr
