Job Summary Express Care, formally known as Urgent Care, is a convenient option for patients who require timely medical care, but the situation is not an emergency. We treat adults and children ages 3 and older and provide care for a wide range of illnesses and injuries, including allergies, asthma, coughs, bronchitis, colds, flu, COVID-19, fever, headache, broken bones, sprains and strains, eye and ear infections, rashes, cuts, sexually transmitted infections, stomach pain, diarrhea, and vomiting. Because patients typically come to us when they aren't feeling their best, it is incredibly important to us that our staff members strive to provide the compassion and emotional support our patients need.

We are seeking a part-time 25-hour Front Desk Assistant to work 2, 12.5-hour shifts (8:30am to 9:00pm) per week onsite at our Express Care center located at 1285 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA. Since Express Care is a 7-day-per-week operation that delivers care during the day, evening, weekends, and holidays, the schedule for this role will require 1 on-call shift per 4-week scheduling period, as well as overtime, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed.

Performs administrative functions to support smooth and efficient clinical service or practice operations under close to general supervision. Performs basic clerical work and tasks that are repetitive and routine. Administrative duties related to patient visits including phone calls, check-in, check-out duties.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma Related Field of Study preferred

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No

Experience: Administrative Assistant or Secretarial Experience 2-3 years required
