Job Requirements

• Active RN license in any state or compact state accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in intermediate care and medical-surgical nursing
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry independently
• EPIC charting experience required
• Travel nurses must live outside the required local radius for eligibility
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients on a Med/Surg and intermediate care unit
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, complete assessments, and document care accurately in EPIC
• Support safe patient flow and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain patient ratios while delivering attentive, compassionate bedside care
• Float as needed within scope and unit expectations
• Follow unit policies related to weekend and holiday coverage, attendance, and professional conduct
