Assistant Store Manager

Elevate and enhance the customer's in-store experience as a trusted sleep authority Offer best-in-class products and execute Mattress Firm selling programs Support a seamless omnichannel experience and create a customer-centered store environment Lead resolution of customer-related issues and elevate when necessary Assist the Senior Store Manager in driving company initiatives and achieving sales performance goals Coach associates on selling practices Ensure execution of in-store merchandising across multiple store units Provide technical and product knowledge information as a subject matter expert Assist with training store associates Promote coaching to improve customer experience and selling aptitude Achieve or exceed store financial targets through effective execution and customer service Ensure product merchandising, marketing, and POP standards Follow procedures for product transfers and proper inventory documentation Requirements Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Ability to lift, pull, and push 50+ pounds Ability to support selling practices, merchandising execution, product knowledge, and associate training Ability to work in an in-store retail environment Qualifications and experience determine compensation within the stated range Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in customer service and sales performance, with a strong focus on product knowledge, merchandising execution, and associate training to enhance the in-store experience. Proven ability to lead teams and drive financial targets in a retail environment.
