Description The IS Technical Support Specialist serves as a resource and local primary point of contact for customer's issues and requests for information technology services and support. The IS Technical Support Specialist provides high-quality end user IS/IT services to all Providence employees, partners, and customers, while also delivering an excellent customer service experience. Required Qualifications A+, Network+, CCNA, MCSE, RHCE, MCSA, CSA, ACE, CCIE, or MCDBA (for Level II) upon hire 1 year of experience – Level I: IT customer service-related experience in a single or combination of positions. 1 year of experience – Level II: At least two (2) current certifications in technology related fields and a minimum of (1) year of experience in technical support -OR- At least one (1) current certification in technology related field and a minimum of at least two (2) years of experience providing technical support in a high volume, technology focused call center -OR- At least three (3) years of experience providing technical support in a high volume, technology focused call center Preferred Qualifications Associate's Degree – Level I: IT or IT related industry or equivalent education/experience Bachelor's Degree – Level II: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent education/experience Why Join Providence? The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
