Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active NY Licensure Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: EPIC Charting System experience required VAD experience, specifically with HeartMate 3 Cardio Thoracic experience required CABG experience required Transplant experience with heart and lungs required Coronary bypass experience required TAVR experience required Valve replacement experience required Knowledge of management of arrhythmias Experience with heart failure and transplant medications Experience with liver and kidney transplants required Ability to float to ICU Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a Stepdown unit. The position involves 12-hour night shifts. Candidates must have experience with the EPIC Charting System. The role requires active NY licensure and certifications in ACLS and BLS. Essential experience includes VAD, specifically with HeartMate 3, as well as Cardio Thoracic, CABG, and transplant experience involving heart and lungs. Candidates should have experience in coronary bypass, TAVR, and valve replacement. A solid understanding of arrhythmias management, heart failure, and transplant medications is necessary. Experience with liver and kidney transplants is also required. The position may require floating to ICU as needed.
