Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position on night shift, requiring 2 years of ICU experience, Epic proficiency, and an active NY RN license.

Details

• Critical Care Float Pool position within a large academic medical center
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Float pool role covering multiple critical care units, including Neuro ICU and SICU
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/critical care RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• All certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI
• US Social Security Number required
• Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal and religious declinations will not be honored
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and outside the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington

Additional Information

• ICU applicants must complete a competency test with up to 2 attempts to pass
• Blocked scheduling is not permitted
• More than 3 call-outs during the contract period may result in termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
