Software Engineer II

Overview The SEI Wealth Platform is looking to hire a passionate Full Stack Software Engineer to work on the cutting edge of FinTech software solutions and build the next generation of investment platforms. Responsibilities Write code across all tiers of our application using Java, Angular, and TypeScript. Build RESTful APIs in a microservice architecture using Node.js and AWS Lambda. Participate in design meetings, stand‑ups, and collaborate with embedded product managers and software testers for a holistic development approach. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience working on a multi‑tiered cloud‑based application. Demonstrated experience with: .NET or Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, SASS, HTML, Angular, Kafka, and Node.js. Hands‑on coding experience with AI tooling such as Codex, Windsurf, or Claude Code. Hands‑on coding experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases in a distributed system. Deep understanding of Agile development best practices such as TDD and continuous delivery. Experience or exposure with cybersecurity application development concepts. Strong knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices. Preferred Qualities Team player with excellent interpersonal skills in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Passion for technology and the ability to apply it to existing and upcoming challenges. Exposure to capital markets and investing. Base Salary $105,000 - $115,000 per year, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus each year subject to company approval.
