Responsibilities: Our Dental Hygienists play a crucial role in providing direct dental care and related services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist, while also supporting office operations. Deliver compassionate and high-quality care to every patient. Provide direct patient care, including scaling, prophylaxis, x-rays, sealant and fluoride application, and other related procedures under the general supervision of a dentist. Enhance customer service by identifying opportunities for Same Day Care. Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices. Evaluate the dental health and needs of patients, reviewing their medical histories. Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations and organizational standards. Guide patients and their families through the entire treatment process. Assist with dental and periodontal charting as needed. Take x-rays and document them in patient records when necessary. Create memorable experiences for patients by demonstrating compassion and understanding. Qualifications: Current licensure as a Dental Hygienist in good standing. CPR certification (BLS) from the ARC or AHA, including hands-on skill assessment (required upon hire). We prioritize teamwork, mutual respect, and collaboration.
