Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a rural clinic setting, requiring 3+ years of experience and current ARRT (R) certification.

Details

• Provides diagnostic and therapeutic radiologic services on an inpatient and outpatient basis
• Supports departments including Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, General and Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Urology, Optometry/Ophthalmology, Psychiatry, and ENT
• Responsible for technical operation of x-ray equipment and processing of radiographic images
• Uses teleradiology and fax equipment
• EMR used is Allscripts
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Must have completed radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiology
• Experience operating teleradiology and fax equipment required
• Current Arizona State License in Radiology (R) required if applicable
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required

Additional Information

• Facility is located in a remote, rural area near Gap, AZ
• Shared contractor housing may be available but is very limited and not guaranteed; no pets or family allowed
• Housing application, if pursued, must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to start
• Orientation occurs every 2 weeks
• COVID and flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted with a declination form
• First-time travelers may be considered
