We are seeking a Front Office/Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. This is a full time position with an immediate opening. Candidate must have reliable transportation and be available to work some closing shifts, weekends and some holidays. We offer Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, 401K with matching, sick, vacation and employee discounts. Priority scheduling based on flexible availability.
Responsibilities: (Include, but not limited to)
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Verify Insurance
- Answer Phone calls
- Assist with Back office
- Injections
- Blood Draws
- Ear Lavages
- EKGS
- Rapid Testing
- UA's and Pregnancy Testing
- COVID Testing
- Assist provider with procedures
- Scanning and attaching documents
- Collect patient copays
- Clean Instruments
- Sterilize exam rooms and work stations
- Perform audits
- Review SB's
- Be able to lift 22 lbs
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare preferred
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiar with medical terminology
- CPT Codes familiarity
- Excellent Communication skills (Both written and Verbal)
- Bilingual a plus
