Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Lewistown, Montana. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel OB RN – Labor & Delivery Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts, Nights Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Facility: Central Montana Medical Center (CMMC) Responsibilities: Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to Labor & Delivery and Obstetric patients. Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor. Manage labor progression and perform cervical examinations within scope. Interpret fetal monitoring strips and recognize changes requiring intervention. Assist with vaginal and operative deliveries. Prepare patients for operative deliveries and respond promptly to obstetric emergencies. Administer medications and provide ongoing clinical care during labor and delivery. Provide postpartum education and support to patients and families. Promote a positive birth experience and optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns. Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the multidisciplinary care team.
