Job Title

Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room – Seasonal Travel

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: September 28, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties across a 14-OR suite supporting a high-volume surgical environment
• Assist with Neuro/Spine, Ortho/Joint, and Transplant procedures as assigned
• Function as a 1:1 scrub tech per OR room alongside RN and surgical team members
• Participate in on-call coverage, including 1–2 call shifts per week between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM
• Maintain accurate documentation and workflow within the facility's EMR system (Meditech)
• Adapt to day and evening hours as needed based on unit scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in an acute care hospital setting
• NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification required prior to submission
• DORA (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies) certification required prior to submission
• Current BLS certification required
• Demonstrated competency in Ortho/Joint procedures
• Demonstrated competency in Neuro/Spine procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I Trauma center experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Experience in transplant surgical procedures
