Director of Operations
Partnership Employment
Director of Operations role with an excellent design/manufacturing company. Location is northern suburb of Milwaukee/upper Fox River basin area. Lead and oversee manufacturing, engineering, warehousing, inventory and shipping through 5 direct reports. Develop and execute strategies that enhance productivity, ensure quality, control costs and drive on-time delivery performance.
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute operational strategies to support growth and profitability objectives
Manufacturing & Production
- Lead manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, and delivery standards.
Engineering & Product Support
- Direct engineering teams to support product development, customization, and continuous improvement.
Warehousing, Inventory & Logistics, Distribution
- Manage warehouse operations to optimize storage, handling, and distribution efficiency.
- Oversee inventory control systems to maintain accuracy and minimize excess or obsolete stock.
Field Services/Installation
- Oversight for field services/ installation.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across all operational areas.
- Implement process improvements, automation, and technology solutions to enhance operational capability.
People Management/Leadership
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing operations & fulfillment teams.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred, not required.
- 10+ years of operations leadership experience in manufacturing, fulfillment, or supply chain roles.
- Proven track record in managing operations and diverse product portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
