The SLP will work closely with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve their communication goals and Amergisize their educational success. Key Responsibilities Conduct speech and language evaluations for students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and progress Monitor outcomes and adjust treatment strategies as appropriate Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations Qualifications Required: Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist Endorsement Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous school-based or pediatric experience Knowledge of IEP processes and special education services Current CPR certification (if applicable) Current health certificate, TB screening, PPD, or chest x-ray as required by state or contract regulations Commitment to maintaining professional standards of practice Benefits Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
