Registered Nurse - OR travel assignment in Kansas City, KS. Start date 06/21/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,255-$2,363 with no guaranteed hours. Shift: 5x8 days. Work setting: hospital operating room. This assignment requires KS RN license and AHA BLS; 2+ years of OR experience with level 1 trauma, strong scrub skills, and familiarity with DaVinci robotic cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, and ex lap procedures.

Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate for complex OR cases, maintaining strict sterile technique and patient safety.
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams, particularly in DaVinci robotic procedures and large head/neck, neuro spine, and abdominal cases.
- Monitor and document patient status intraoperatively, manage equipment readiness, and ensure accurate counts and OR readiness.
- Administer medications and manage intraoperative fluids within scope of practice, under the direction of the perioperative team.
- Collaborate with surgeons, residents, and support staff to optimize case flow and patient outcomes.
- float to all OR suites as needed and adhere to set shift, on-call, and holiday requirements.

Requirements
- Current Kansas RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years OR experience, with level 1 trauma experience
- Strong scrub proficiency; familiarity with DaVinci robotic cases, large head/neck surgeries, neuro spine, and ex lap
- Ability to float to all ORs and participate in on-call coverage (up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract)
- New graduates not accepted
- Orientation and credentialing timelines: credentials due 1 week prior to start
