Registered Nurse (Psych) – Conroe, TX Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Day and Night Shifts Available Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral Health team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health needs while supporting a safe, therapeutic environment. Key Responsibilities Assess patients and develop individualized nursing care plans. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies. Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team. Supervise assigned staff and assist with daily unit operations. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in patient assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning. Promote a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment for patients. Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Required Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas. Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required. Behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience preferred. Current CPR certification required. De-escalation certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
