Team Leader

A Team Leader consistently demonstrates our core values, embraces the Chick-fil-A culture, and has a heart for serving others. They have a passion for people, a strong character, take initiative, and work with a sense of urgency at all times. Our Team Leaders are responsible for supporting the senior management in executing daily operations and maintaining the members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. The two main focus areas for a Team Leader are completing tasks to make the restaurant run effectively and training/developing team members. Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone for others to follow.

Type of position: Full-time and part-time

Responsibilities of the team leader:

• Participate operationally in daily activities in high-volume, fast-paced restaurants
• Provide immediate and respectful response to guest needs
• Help in training new employees, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
• Be a friendly and motivating team player
• Open and/or close, lead changes, key holder
• Count drawers and end of day
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Qualifications and requirements:

• Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility
• No prior experience required as shift leader, team leader, supervisor, team captain, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager, but preferred
