Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $1,965 per week (Hiring Immediately)

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Chandler, Arizona. This position involves providing care to post-operative and chemotherapy/oncology patients within a Medical Surgical Oncology floor. The role requires strong assessment and time management skills to manage high patient turnover on a unit that includes post-op and oncology patients. Job Details Certifications: ACLS, BLS. Education Requirements: Willing to wait for license submission. Location Requirements: Not specified. Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience (within the past 6 months). Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Recent (within the past 6 months), minimum two years of clinical experience in a similar setting, current ACLS and BLS certifications, licensed to practice in the state. Preferred Qualifications: ONS Chemo Provider Card (not required but preferred). Additional Information: Candidate must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (with a maximum of 2 attempts). There is also a pass/fail simulation lab on day one of orientation. The unit features 32 beds, with a nurse:patient ratio of 4:1, and includes post-op colorectal, urological, bariatric, hepatobiliary, hysterectomy, breast reconstruction, and chemo/oncology patients. The team includes RN staff with tele/monitor techs, charge nurses who do not take assignments but may assist with chemo, and available nurse aides during day shift. Float: Float rotation may be required.
