Physical Therapist PRN

Role Overview: The physical therapist assesses, plans, and participates in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury. Services are delivered across the continuum, prioritizing quality, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction, while ensuring regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Treatment Planning & Care: Implements treatment plans, selects appropriate activities, revises goals with patient/family input, provides education, discharge instructions, and referrals. Patient Assessment: Collaborates with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans, incorporating patient/family input. Documentation: Records evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge information following departmental guidelines. Professional Conduct & Communication: Maintains confidentiality, adheres to policies, communicates effectively, and participates in team activities and meetings. Customer Service & Teamwork: Demonstrates respect, fosters a positive environment, applies service principles, and supports collaborative care. Professional Development: Engages in ongoing education, completes required competencies, and participates in training and orientation. Qualifications: Doctorate, Masters, or Bachelors in Physical Therapy. Licensure as a Physical Therapist and BLS certification.
