In-Home Physical Therapist for Total Joint Replacement

Overview Select Physical Therapy is seeking an In-Home Staff Physical Therapist in West and South Indianapolis. Schedule: Monday through Friday. Compensation: $74,000 to $90,000 based on years of experience. Offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus and unlimited student debt benefit. Our team is looking for a licensed and experienced, compassionate, and driven In-Home Physical Therapist. This is a treating clinical position and travel will be required to different home care settings, between centers, doctor’s offices, and to patients’ homes for therapy treatments. Our comprehensive benefits package supports your career growth and personal well-being: Responsibilities Travel to different home care settings, between clinics, doctor’s offices, and to patients’ homes for therapy treatments. Evaluate the home environment for rehab and make appropriate recommendations to increase the independence of the client. Develop, prepare, and maintain individualized client care progress records with accuracy and timeliness according to agency policy and procedures. Supervise physical therapy assistants by directing, participating in, and presenting continuing education programs; and assume administrative/supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the director. Educate client/caregiver and health care teams in phases of physical therapy, including the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices and durable medical equipment where appropriate. Qualifications Licensed physical therapist in the state of employment. Minimum two years of experience as a physical therapist. Automobile liability insurance and current unrestricted driver’s license. CPR certification or complete training required.
