School Aide

Amergis Educational Staffing is partnered with a school in Bridgewater, MA who is currently seeking a Instructional Coach/ School Aide to work with students on a contractual basis.
Details of the Position Include:
Start Date: 08/24/2026
Duration: Full school year
Schedule: Monday- Friday Still being finalized; expected to be approximately 4 hours per day, 5 days per week (20 hours guaranteed)
Requirements : Prior experience working as a 1:1 aide with middle-high school students.
Description: Seeking a qualified School Aide to work 1:1 with a highly independent 19 year old female student who attends classed at a university in Bridgewater. Student requires academic support along with shadowing, reminders to get to class, and accompanying student throughout the day.
Pay: $25/ hour

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
