Social Media Specialist - Graphics

Barstool Sports is seeking a Social Media Specialist with a strong focus on graphic design and visual storytelling to help drive engagement and grow our audience across all social platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about sports betting, deeply familiar with Barstool’s voice, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. This position is based in the Chicago office and requires in-office presence Monday through Friday, and Sundays during NFL season.

What You'll Do

• Manage content creation, social copy, and publishing, focusing on the gambling category.


• Develop strategies to drive fan engagement and build community, engaging and interacting with followers.


• Manage the post-sale process for social campaigns, including collaborating with various teams to advise on social creativity and write and copy-edit social copy.


• Understand how to create and produce the same piece of content for each varying social platform.


• Taking creative thoughts and using graphic and video editing skills to bring to life on social 


• Transcribe, caption and caption check video content as required.


• Track content performance, discovering, and implementing actionable insights.


• Have an eye on and develop the strategy for expanding onto newer social platforms - increasing reach and fan interaction with the brand. 


• Repurpose content across platforms using visual and design skills to maximize reach and consistency.


• Use Adobe Photoshop and other tools to design high-impact social graphics, infographics, memes, and motion graphics (if capable).


• Transcribe, caption, and caption-check short-form video content when needed.


• Monitor and analyze performance of visual content, leveraging insights to improve strategy and engagement.


• Contribute to creative ideation around expanding Barstool’s graphic presence on emerging social platforms.

What You Have

• 2+ years relevant social content creation experience


• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop 


• Basic knowledge of sports betting.


• A strong eye for design, layout, and brand consistency across multiple platforms


• Experience creating content for major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube)


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment


• Ability to manage key stakeholders and prioritize appropriately


• Creative and critical thinking skills

Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000k
