Registered Nurse – Adult and Geriatric Care

Schedule: Weekends: Rotation — details to be discussed during interview Call: Yes/variable — typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5–6 weeks

Requirements: RN licensure in GA or Compact license required at time of submission Minimum: 2 years RN experience Required certifications: ACLS, BLS Charting experience: Epic required Experience with cardiovascular and thoracic procedures preferred

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients. Monitor and assess patient health status and vital signs. Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care. Educate patients and families on health management and care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and charting in compliance with protocols.

Compliance / Notes: Full compliance required to start on time; if non-compliant, start may be delayed. Complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing. All compliance documents due by Tuesday prior to start. One pre-approved time off request allowed per contract specifics; max RTO: 7 days. Travelers expected to work major holidays as follows: 1 holiday in assignment—work it; 2 holidays—work both; 3 holidays—work two of the three. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day.
