We are partnering with a growing and well-established construction company in Bedford Hills, NY, seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead the company's accounting and financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to make a direct impact within a dynamic construction environment. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Oversee job costing, project accounting, and WIP reporting Coordinate with external CPA firms, banks, and auditors Develop and improve accounting processes and internal controls Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting leadership experience Construction industry experience required Strong understanding of job costing and project-based accounting Proficiency with accounting software and Excel Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment What We Offer: Competitive base salary up to $120K Stable and growing company culture High visibility role with leadership exposure
