Hello, and thanks for considering our local and family-owned company! Here at Verlo Mattress, we are looking for a well-spoken, upbeat, and responsible person to join our growing Sleep Advocate team. Our advocates help local community members by informing them of the best way to get a great night’s sleep. We do this through the intimate knowledge of sleep and sleep materials. Don’t know much about sleep? No worries! All we require is a willingness to learn, a can‑do attitude, and the ability to enhance our culture further. Sleep Advocate Job Responsibilities: Serves customers by helping them understand and select products. Drives sales through the engagement of customers and sharing product knowledge. Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner. Responds to customers’ questions. Provides outstanding customer service. Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records. Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards. Assists with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise. Assists with product assembly. Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest. Presents, promotes, and sells products/services using a proven, easy-to-navigate sales system. Performs cost-benefit and needs analysis for customers to meet their needs Establishes, develops, and maintains positive customer relationships Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction Coordinates sales effort with team members and other departments Skills No sales experience needed Basic computer skills Highly motivated and target-driven Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills Ability to truly listen to customers and help them according to their wants and needs Relationship management skills and openness to feedback Job Type: Part-time Salary: $14-$20/hour Benefits: Paid training Schedule: Day shift No nights Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: Commission pay License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
