Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Travel)

Location

Damariscotta, Maine

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Nights | 36 hours per week | Every other weekend | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit within a Critical Access Hospital setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients during night shift hours
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment
• Support core staff during vacation coverage periods as part of a travel nursing assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing role
• Ability to work night shifts (approximately 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM)
• Willingness to work every other weekend as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of general Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Experience with Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS Tele)
